What role will you play in the team

You will serve as a core Full Stack MERN and GraphQL Engineer driving the end-to-end architecture, development, and scaling of robust web applications. Your technical expertise will directly empower our engineering squads to build high-performance distributed systems, ensuring seamless data flow between modern frontend frameworks and scalable backend microservices while adhering to stringent software engineering best practices.

What you will do

You will architect, design, and deploy highly responsive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks while concurrently engineering robust server-side applications with Node.js and Express.js. You will integrate complex RESTful APIs and GraphQL schemas, optimize database operations across MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and maintain rigorous code quality standards utilizing Git and GitHub for version control and continuous integration workflows.

Key responsibility

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and Express.js within an agile delivery environment.
• Architect and optimize high-performance GraphQL APIs and RESTful endpoints for seamless client-server communication.
• Design, query, and optimize complex database schemas using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL to ensure low latency and high availability.
• Implement comprehensive automated testing suites and code reviews to guarantee software reliability and security compliance.
  
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deploy applications onto cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines via Git and GitHub to streamline deployment cycles.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline with demonstrable software engineering experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional hands-on software development experience specializing in Full Stack JavaScript ecosystems.
• Expertise in JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, React, Node.js, and Express.js development.
• Proven capability in designing and consuming GraphQL and RESTful APIs in production environments.
• Extensive practical experience with database systems including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Proficiency in version control workflows using Git and GitHub, alongside deployment experience on AWS or Microsoft Azure.

A Day in the Life

Your day begins with a dynamic stand-up meeting with your engineering squad to review sprint goals and address technical roadblocks. You spend the morning refactoring a high-throughput GraphQL resolver in Node.js and optimizing MongoDB query performance. After lunch, you collaborate with frontend peers to integrate a complex React component, execute code reviews on GitHub, and finalize deployment scripts for our AWS cloud environment.
