Full Stack Node.js And React Engineer

What role will you play in the team
As a Full Stack Node.js and React Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end web applications. You will operate at the intersection of frontend and backend development, building robust server-side logic with Node.js and Express.js while delivering seamless user experiences using React and modern JavaScript.

What you will do
You will design scalable backend architectures, write secure RESTful APIs, and manage database operations using MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Simultaneously, you will build dynamic frontend interfaces, deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS, manage codebases through Git and GitHub, and collaborate with cross-functional product teams to deliver high-impact software solutions.

Key responsibility

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Develop responsive, interactive frontend user interfaces using React and JavaScript frameworks.
• Manage database schemas, queries, and migrations using MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and configure cloud-based infrastructure and services on AWS cloud platforms.
• Implement secure user authentication, authorization, and data encryption protocols.
  
• Utilize Git and GitHub for branch management, version control, and collaborative coding.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot backend bottlenecks, and optimize database queries.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, and React framework ecosystems.
• Strong hands-on experience with database management systems like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and deploying applications via containers.
• Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for collaborative software development workflows.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, security, and performance tuning.

A Day in the Life
You kick off your day by reviewing pull requests on GitHub and merging approved backend code. Mid-morning is dedicated to writing backend endpoints in Node.js and connecting them to MongoDB. After lunch, you shift focus to the frontend, updating React components, testing RESTful APIs, and troubleshooting an AWS deployment configuration.
