Full Stack Node.js Developer

What role will you play in the team

As a Full Stack Node.js Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and scaling robust server-side applications and dynamic client-side interfaces. You will act as a bridge between database architecture and user experience, ensuring seamless end-to-end functionality of enterprise-grade software products deployed on cloud platforms.

What you will do

You will design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js while managing database schemas in MongoDB and PostgreSQL. You will build secure RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, write comprehensive unit tests, and deploy containerized applications on cloud infrastructures like AWS to ensure high availability and optimal server performance.

Key responsibility

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
• Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases including MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Implement secure user authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code adhering to software engineering best practices.
• 
  Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user interface elements with server-side logic.
• Perform comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure application security and stability.
• Maintain version control workflows and collaborate via Git and GitHub repositories.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of professional software development experience specializing in full-stack engineering.
• Strong expertise in Backend Technologies including Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Database Systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and writing optimized queries.
• Hands-on experience in API Development including RESTful APIs and GraphQL implementation.
• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficient in Version Control Systems including Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.

You kick off your morning by checking system logs and cloud monitoring alerts on AWS. You spend dedicated hours writing Node.js backend logic and building database schemas in MongoDB.
