Full Stack Software Engineer

What role will you play in the team

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will take ownership of end-to-end web application development within our core product division. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native architectures, bridging the gap between sophisticated backend database systems and intuitive, high-performance frontend interfaces to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

What you will do

You will architect robust backend microservices using Node.js and Express.js, design scalable schemas in MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and build interactive user interfaces using React. Additionally, you will provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, implement secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and ensure zero-downtime continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Key responsibility

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Architect and optimize database schemas using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for high performance.
• Develop and document secure RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for client-side consumption.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale cloud infrastructure and serverless functions utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines via Git and GitHub.
• Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure maximum code reliability.
  
• Collaborate with product owners and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, refactor legacy systems, and resolve production security vulnerabilities.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional full-stack software development experience in fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in backend technologies including Node.js, Express.js, and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.
• Deep working knowledge of database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Demonstrated experience in API development involving RESTful APIs and modern GraphQL standards.
• Hands-on cloud deployment experience with major cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Strong command over version control systems like Git and GitHub for enterprise code collaboration.

A Day in the Life

Your day starts with reviewing automated CI/CD pipeline build statuses and addressing any deployment anomalies. You will spend dedicated hours writing backend business logic in Node.js, optimizing MongoDB aggregation pipelines, and connecting them to the React frontend. Later, you will collaborate during architecture refinement meetings and review pull requests submitted by team members.
