Investment Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Become an expert on the Artiffex application
2. Support the outsourcing team by executing reconciliations for our outsourcing service line
3. Occasionally support customers in the use of the SAAS service line by handling queries and resolving customer accounting issues while ensuring a positive customer experience.
4. Representing the voice of the customer to help improve products where necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Finance professional with a solid understanding of accounting as it relates to marketable securities.
2. Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent accounting experience with a solid grounding in accounting principles.
3. 4 years experience in an associate/assistant accounting role.
4. Experience of bookkeeping/investment accounting and the associated tax implications is essential.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy with the experience to analyse financial data and easily identify anomalies, errors and/or omissions.

   Solid computer skills in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new software quickly, easily and competently.
7. Highly motivated, self-starter with strong project and time management skills, able to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and the ability to communicate in French if necessary.
9. Comfortable in a dynamic fintech environment; resourceful, able to handle several tasks at once and capable of changing direction quickly.
