What role will you play in the team

You will play a pivotal role within our premier debt capital markets team, acting as a core driver for structuring, underwriting, and executing complex corporate debt issuances, bond offerings, and syndicated loan facilities for top-tier Indian and international corporate clients navigating macroeconomic shifts.

What you will do

You will spearhead the creation of comprehensive pitch books, coordinate rigorous due diligence processes, and build intricate financial models using advanced platforms to evaluate optimal capital structures, coupon rates, and covenant packages tailored to specific sector requirements.

Key responsibility

• Design, develop, and maintain robust financial models and DCF projections to assess client debt-servicing capacity and optimal leverage ratios.
• Prepare extensive pitch materials, offering memoranda, and marketing presentations utilizing Dealogic and Bloomberg Terminal data feeds.
• Analyze prevailing macroeconomic trends, interest rate trajectories, and secondary market spreads across capital markets platforms.
• Coordinate seamlessly with legal counsels, rating agencies, auditors, and syndicate desks during the execution and syndication phases.
• Perform comprehensive comparable company analysis and precedent transaction reviews to benchmark debt pricing strategies.
• Evaluate credit risk metrics and ensure absolute regulatory compliance with SEBI and RBI guidelines for corporate bond issuances.
• Manage end-to-end deal documentation workflows, ensuring meticulous accuracy in term sheets, indenture agreements, and underwriting memos.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Possess a Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, CA, or CFA charterholder status with a proven academic track record in corporate finance.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 0 to 1 years of intensive experience in investment banking, debt syndication, or fixed income research.
• Expert-level proficiency in financial analysis, DCF modeling, valuation techniques, and advanced Excel macros & VBA.
• Hands-on operational experience with Bloomberg Terminal, Dealogic, and major capital markets data terminals.
• Exceptional quantitative aptitude coupled with stellar written and verbal communication skills for executive-level client interactions.
• Strong working knowledge of legal covenants, debt ratings methodologies, and credit risk evaluation frameworks.
