Job Description
What role you will play in team:
As a Financial Modeling Specialist, you will be instrumental in developing and refining financial models for M&A transactions, capital raising, and strategic advisory projects. Your expertise will drive key insights and recommendations for our clients, playing a vital role in their financial decision-making processes.
What you will do:
You will construct complex financial models, conduct valuation analyses, and perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities. You'll work closely with senior bankers to prepare presentations and pitch books, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial information presented to clients.
Key Responsibility:
- Develop detailed financial models for valuation, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), leveraged buyouts (LBOs), and other investment banking transactions.
- Conduct comprehensive company and industry research to support model assumptions and projections.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess the potential impact of various factors on financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books, presentations, and other client materials.
- Analyze financial statements and conduct due diligence to identify key risks and opportunities.
- Utilize Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, and other financial data providers to gather relevant information.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial models and analyses.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to develop and refine investment strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling techniques, valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, Comparable Company Analysis), and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and macros.
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Capital IQ, or similar financial data platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of M&A Modeling Tools, PitchBook, Dealogic.
- Demonstrated experience in investment banking or a related field.
