What role will you play in the team

You will play a crucial role within our core investment banking division, driving financial evaluation and supporting high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising mandates. Your analytical rigor will directly impact strategic deal-making decisions for our elite global clientele, ensuring precision across complex corporate finance transactions and valuation deliverables in fast-paced deal environments.

What you will do

You will meticulously build complex financial models, execute discounted cash flow valuations, and formulate comparable company analyses to determine accurate target pricing. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with senior bankers to draft comprehensive pitch books, confidential information memoranda, and transaction documentation while performing rigorous market research to identify emerging sector trends and strategic growth opportunities.

Key responsibility

• Develop and maintain intricate DCF and LBO models to evaluate potential corporate mergers and acquisitions.
• Perform exhaustive comparable company and precedent transaction analyses to establish robust valuation benchmarks.
• Design detailed pitch books, management presentations, and investment memorandums for prospective clients.
• Analyze historical financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements to forecast future performance trends.
• Coordinate with legal, accounting, and advisory teams during financial due diligence processes.
  
• Utilize advanced Bloomberg Terminal and Capital IQ functions to extract critical market data and equity research reports.
• Synthesize complex financial findings into clear, actionable strategic insights for senior management stakeholders.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Possess a Master of Business Administration in Finance, Chartered Financial Analyst designation, or an equivalent advanced quantitative degree.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience in investment banking valuation or private equity modeling.
• Expertise in utilizing Excel Macros, VBA, and financial database platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal and Capital IQ.
• Comprehensive understanding of valuation techniques, merger consequences modeling, and leveraged buyout mechanics.
• Exceptional quantitative aptitude with a meticulous eye for detail and uncompromising accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to articulate complex financial arguments to executive leadership teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority financial projects simultaneously under extremely tight deadlines.
