What role will you play in the team

As an Investment Banking Valuation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our core financial evaluation initiatives. Your primary focus will be supporting high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising mandates. You will work closely with senior bankers and deal teams to synthesize complex financial data, construct sophisticated valuation frameworks, and deliver actionable strategic insights that directly influence corporate finance decisions and executive-level presentations.

What you will do

Your day-to-day operations will involve building exhaustive financial models from scratch and conducting rigorous quantitative analysis. You will thoroughly evaluate target companies, assess market trends, and formulate comprehensive pitch books. Additionally, you will coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional advisory teams, manage demanding deal pipelines, and ensure all financial deliverables maintain the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and professional excellence under tight deadlines.

Key responsibility

• Develop and maintain complex Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models to evaluate investment opportunities and acquisition targets.
• Perform comprehensive Comparable Company Analysis (CCA) and Precedent Transactions Analysis using advanced financial databases.
• Prepare detailed pitch books, information memorandums, and management presentations for prospective clients and institutional investors.
• Execute meticulous financial statement analysis, trend evaluation, and historical performance auditing to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal deal originators and external legal teams during due diligence processes to verify transaction data.

• Design and implement customized Excel Macros and VBA scripts to streamline routine financial modeling tasks and enhance data integrity.
• Monitor capital markets platforms and generate regular market update reports highlighting valuation multiple shifts and sector trends.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in Valuation Techniques, DCF modeling, LBO analysis, and Comparable Company Analysis.
• Proficiency in utilizing financial data terminals and tools including Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, FactSet, and PitchBook.
• Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling standards, and Excel Macros & VBA development.
• Strong foundational knowledge of M&A Modeling Tools, Dealogic, and broader Capital Markets Platforms.
• Exceptional analytical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex quantitative datasets into clear presentations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a proven capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
