Junior Data Visualization Specialist

What role will you play in the team

As a Junior Data Visualization Specialist, you will act as a critical bridge between raw enterprise data and executive decision-making. You will be responsible for transforming complex, multi-dimensional datasets into intuitive, interactive dashboards and visual reports. Your work will empower stakeholders across various departments to track key performance indicators, uncover hidden operational trends, and drive data-backed strategic initiatives with absolute clarity and precision.

What you will do

You will design, develop, and maintain dynamic visualization dashboards that aggregate data from multiple disparate sources. Your daily responsibilities will include gathering business intelligence requirements, writing optimized database queries, cleaning data feeds, structuring semantic models, and publishing reports to cloud portals. You will also conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure high adoption rates of the developed analytics tools across the organization.

Key responsibility

• Develop interactive dashboards and enterprise reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio.
• Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using SQL, MongoDB, and ETL Tools like Informatica and Talend.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to design dimensional data models, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
• Perform advanced exploratory data analysis and statistical validation using SAS, SPSS, and Python libraries.
• Optimize dashboard loading speeds, query performance, and memory consumption for large-scale enterprise datasets.
• Establish rigorous data governance standards, row-level security protocols, and user access controls for published reports.
  
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured metrics, KPI trees, and visual storytelling formats.
• Conduct regular maintenance, version control, and troubleshooting of existing reporting pipelines and data connectors.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or data analytics roles.
• Expertise in Data Visualization Tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio.
• Advanced proficiency in Database Management and query writing using SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of ETL Tools like Informatica, Talend, and Apache Nifi for data preparation workflows.
• Familiarity with Programming Languages such as Python and R for data automation and scripting tasks.
• Understanding of Big Data Technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Kafka for processing large enterprise data.
• Proficiency in Statistical Analysis Software like SAS, SPSS, and Minitab for conducting data sanity checks.
