Junior Frontend Developer

What role will you play in the team

You will play a vital role as a Junior Frontend Developer within our dynamic engineering team. Your primary focus will be translating UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, responsive web applications. You will collaborate closely with senior developers, product managers, and backend engineers to build seamless digital experiences for our global clientele using modern JavaScript frameworks.

What you will do

As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will actively participate in sprint planning, write clean and maintainable code, and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability. You will be responsible for implementing responsive designs, debugging frontend issues, and conducting rigorous cross-browser testing to ensure optimal performance across all devices and platforms.

Key responsibility

• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.
• Translate design wireframes and prototypes into high-quality, efficient code.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints seamlessly.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance across devices.
• Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, managing pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and share knowledge with team members.
  
• Identify, troubleshoot, and debug frontend application bottlenecks and rendering issues.
• Write unit tests using modern testing frameworks to ensure code reliability and robustness.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 0 to 1 years of hands-on professional experience in frontend web development.
• Proficiency in core web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Demonstrated practical experience building applications with React or other JavaScript Frameworks.
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous JavaScript operations.
• Working knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub workflows.
• Understanding of responsive design principles, CSS preprocessors, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative team mindset.
