Junior Product Manager

What role will you play in the team

As a Junior Product Manager at our leading client in Bangalore, you will act as the foundational pillar for our core product squad. Your primary focus will be supporting the end-to-end product lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering, UX design, and QA teams to deliver high-impact digital solutions that directly drive user engagement and business metrics within the fintech sector.

What you will do

You will actively gather user feedback, analyze product analytics data using Mixpanel and Google Analytics, and translate complex business requirements into detailed user stories and wireframes using Figma. Furthermore, you will manage the daily sprint backlog in Jira, ensuring seamless coordination and prioritization during agile planning sessions to meet tight release deadlines successfully.

Key responsibility

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for upcoming software releases.
• Maintain and groom the team backlog in Jira, ensuring tickets are well-defined and prioritized based on value.
• Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative user research leveraging Mixpanel and Hotjar to identify key pain points.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes and collaborative prototypes in Figma to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Track daily sprint velocity, manage Kanban boards, and run regular agile ceremonies including stand-ups.
  
• Coordinate cross-functional deployment schedules with engineering leads and quality assurance teams.
• Monitor post-launch product performance metrics and compile weekly status reports for executive leadership.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience in product management, agile delivery, or software development support.
• Proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, and Trello for comprehensive project tracking and documentation.
• Basic working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for wireframing.
• Familiarity with product analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics for data interpretation.
• Strong understanding of Agile Methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and Kanban board management techniques.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to present ideas clearly.
