Junior Product Manager

What role will you play in the team

You will play a foundational role in our core product management team, bridging the gap between engineering, design, and business stakeholders. Your focus will be on executing product sprints, gathering user requirements, and defining feature specifications for our web and mobile platforms.

What you will do

You will collaborate closely with UX designers and software developers to build scalable digital products. Your daily tasks include writing detailed user stories, managing the product backlog in Jira, analyzing user feedback via Hotjar, and tracking core product metrics using Google Analytics to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibility

• Define and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and marketing to ensure timely product launches.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify new feature opportunities and market trends.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.
• Utilize tools like Jira, Trello, and Confluence for sprint planning, tracking, and documentation.
• Monitor product performance metrics and user engagement analytics using Mixpanel and Google Analytics to make data-backed decisions.
  
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to foster an environment of continuous delivery.
• Gather qualitative and quantitative customer feedback through surveys and usability testing tools like Hotjar and UsabilityHub.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience in product management, software development, or agile project execution.
• Proficiency in Agile Methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and Kanban boards for task management.
• Hands-on experience with project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, and Monday.com.
• Basic familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong analytical mindset with exposure to product analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills to articulate product vision clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving aptitude.

A Day in the Life

Your day begins by checking sprint boards in Jira and leading the daily stand-up with the engineering team. You spend the late morning reviewing product analytics in Google Analytics and synthesizing user feedback from Hotjar. In the afternoon, you collaborate with designers in Figma to refine wireframes for an upcoming feature release and finalize user stories for the next planning cycle.
