Junior Product Manager

What role will you play in the team

As a Junior Product Manager at our leading client firm in the technology sector, you will play a foundational role in driving product feature lifecycles from conception to launch. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional engineering, UX design, and quality assurance teams to define product requirements, prioritize backlog items, and ensure seamless delivery of software solutions that align with strategic business goals and user needs.

What you will do

You will actively manage the day-to-day agile product development operations by writing comprehensive user stories, maintaining the product backlog using Jira, and facilitating sprint planning sessions. Additionally, you will conduct thorough market research, analyze product metrics using Mixpanel and Google Analytics, and gather actionable customer feedback through surveys to continuously optimize feature performance and user engagement.

Key responsibility

• Translate overarching business objectives into clear, actionable product requirements documents (PRDs) and detailed user stories for engineering squads.
• Manage, groom, and prioritize the product backlog using Jira and Kanban boards to ensure maximum value delivery during each sprint.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to review wireframes and prototypes created in Figma, ensuring optimal user experience standards.
• Track, measure, and report key product performance indicators (KPIs) and user engagement metrics leveraging Mixpanel and Amplitude analytics tools.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) phases, validate bug fixes, and ensure all released features meet strict quality assurance benchmarks.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to identify emerging industry trends and feature enhancement opportunities.
  
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment meetings, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives to maintain high team velocity and transparency.
• Engage directly with customer success and support teams to synthesize user feedback and resolve critical pain points efficiently.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience in product management, agile delivery, or software feature coordination roles.
• Proficiency in utilizing project management and tracking tools including Jira, Trello, and Confluence for agile execution.
• Basic working knowledge of design and wireframing platforms such as Figma or Adobe XD to collaborate with design teams.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude for tracking user behavior.
• Strong foundational understanding of Agile Methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and Kanban workflow principles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated analytical aptitude with strong problem-solving capabilities and a user-first mindset.
