Junior Product Manager

What role will you play in the team

You will play a foundational role in our core product management team, bridging the gap between software engineering, design, and business stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to support the end-to-end lifecycle of our digital products, ensuring seamless feature rollouts that directly address user pain points and drive core business metrics for our growing platform.

What you will do

You will actively collaborate with cross-functional squads to define product requirements, write precise user stories, and maintain a prioritized backlog. Furthermore, you will leverage quantitative product analytics and qualitative customer feedback to uncover actionable insights, iterate on feature designs, and optimize user engagement across multiple digital touchpoints.

Key responsibility

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma for new feature developments.
• Manage and groom the product backlog daily, ensuring user stories are clear, testable, and ready for sprint planning sessions.
• Utilize Jira and Trello to track sprint velocity, monitor bug fixes, and coordinate deployment timelines with engineering leads.
• Analyze user behavior trends and drop-off points using Mixpanel and Google Analytics to recommend data-driven product enhancements.
• Synthesize customer feedback gathered from surveys and usability testing platforms to continuously refine the product roadmap.
  
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and agile ceremonies to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Coordinate with marketing and customer success teams to align on product launch schedules and communication strategies.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience in product management, technical project coordination, or software development internships.
• Demonstrated foundational knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and Kanban boards for software delivery.
• Proficiency with modern product design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics to interpret user engagement data.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, concise technical specifications.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present ideas effectively to diverse stakeholder groups.

Your day typically begins by reviewing the daily sprint dashboard in Jira to track overnight deployment progress and address any blockers with the engineering team. By mid-morning, you will dive into Mixpanel to analyze user drop-offs from yesterday's feature release. Afternoons are generally reserved for cross-functional alignment meetings, grooming the product backlog with upcoming user stories, and sketching rapid wireframe concepts in Figma for stakeholder feedback.
