Junior Product Manager - User Feedback & Feature Discovery

What role will you play in the team

You will play a pivotal role in driving our user discovery and feature validation lifecycle. As a Junior Product Manager focused on user feedback, you will bridge the gap between customer insights and core product execution. You will interpret qualitative data to empower our agile teams to build features that genuinely solve customer pain points and drive long-term engagement metrics.

What you will do

You will orchestrate comprehensive user research campaigns utilizing advanced telemetry and session recording solutions. Your daily routine will involve synthesizing customer interviews, managing feature request backlogs in Jira, mapping out user journeys using Figma, and collaborating tightly with UX designers and software engineering squads to launch impactful, data-backed feature releases.

Key responsibility

• Design, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative user research studies leveraging tools like Hotjar and UsabilityHub.
• Maintain, prioritize, and groom the product backlog in Jira in alignment with core sprint objectives and sprint planning methodologies.
• Synthesize cross-channel customer feedback, creating structured reports that highlight critical usability roadblocks and high-value feature opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and design squads to transform raw customer insights into actionable product requirements documents (PRDs).
  
• Track post-launch feature adoption metrics and analyze drop-off rates using core product analytics platforms.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and usability audits to identify strategic gaps in current product offerings.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Design, or a related technical discipline.
• 0-1 years of hands-on experience in product management, user research, or digital product development internships.
• Demonstrated familiarity with agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and backlog management in Jira.
• Proficiency in utilizing advanced user testing platforms such as Hotjar, UsabilityHub, and SurveyMonkey.
• Basic understanding of wireframing and prototyping principles using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.

A Day in the Life

Your day begins with a quick daily standup with the engineering squad to unblock frontend implementation tasks. You then spend a couple of hours analyzing session recordings in Hotjar to diagnose a sudden drop-off in the onboarding funnel. In the afternoon, you synthesize these findings into a concise Jira ticket update, sync with the UI/UX team on Figma wireframe iterations, and close out the day drafting a PRD for the upcoming sprint planning session.
