What role will you play in the team

As a Junior Strategic Planning Associate, you will be an integral pillar of our internal strategy and management consulting team, providing analytical rigor and operational support for major corporate restructuring projects. Your role centers on transforming raw operational metrics and extensive market research data into clear, strategic recommendations that empower senior management to make informed, data-driven decisions regarding business expansion, cost optimization, and resource allocation.

What you will do

You will support senior consultants by conducting exhaustive market research, deploying quantitative surveys through platforms like Qualtrics, and analyzing enterprise datasets using advanced Excel and ERP systems. Your daily responsibilities will include building detailed process maps, tracking project deliverables via Jira and Asana, and preparing comprehensive reports that highlight operational inefficiencies and present viable strategic solutions for our diverse enterprise clients.

Key responsibility

• Execute rigorous market research studies and competitive intelligence analyses using industry-standard tools and syndicated databases like Nielsen and Qualtrics.
• Extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of operational and financial data from various ERP systems and CRM platforms including Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Design detailed current-state and future-state process maps using Visio and Lucidchart to identify operational bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers to track task completion, milestone achievements, and resource allocation using collaborative agile tools like Jira and Asana.
• Develop dynamic financial and operational models in Microsoft Excel, incorporating macros and VBA scripts to automate repetitive data consolidation tasks.
  
• Draft comprehensive reports, executive summaries, and presentation decks detailing strategic insights, trend analyses, and performance benchmarks for client stakeholders.
• Support cross-functional strategy teams during brainstorming sessions, workshops, and client interviews by documenting key takeaways and action items.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant analytical discipline.
• Possess foundational professional experience ranging from 0 to 1 years in strategic planning, business analysis, market research, or corporate consulting functions.
• Demonstrate strong command over Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, pivot tables, lookup functions, and basic VBA automation.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP Systems), SAP, Oracle, and customer relationship management tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Proficiency in utilizing market research and survey tools such as Qualtrics, Nielsen, and qualitative/quantitative data analytics platforms.
• Working knowledge of project management and workflow tracking applications including Jira, Asana, and collaborative process mapping software like Visio.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset toward solving complex business problems.
