What role will you play in the team

As a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Jobaaj, you will play a pivotal role in driving our recruitment engine forward. You will collaborate directly with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, shape recruitment strategies, and act as a brand ambassador to attract top-tier talent into the organization, ensuring seamless integration of new hires.

What you will do

You will execute end-to-end recruitment life cycles, leveraging advanced sourcing techniques and professional networks to identify, engage, and evaluate prospective candidates. Your daily activities will involve reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and maintaining precise recruitment metrics within our applicant tracking systems to optimize hiring efficiency.

Key responsibility

• Execute full-cycle recruitment processes including job requisition parsing, candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination across various departments.
• Utilize Boolean search operators and professional networking platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter to build robust talent pipelines for urgent and future vacancies.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate competencies, cultural fit, salary expectations, and notice periods.
• Manage interview schedules seamlessly between candidates and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and feedback loops.
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) with accurate candidate statuses, interview notes, and recruitment MIS reports.

• Assist in organizing and executing campus recruitment drives and bulk hiring initiatives as per business growth requirements.
• Facilitate background verification processes, reference checks, and coordinate formal job offer rollouts.
• Participate in employer branding initiatives and represent the company positively at job fairs and recruitment events.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• 0-1 years of hands-on experience or relevant internship exposure in end-to-end recruitment and candidate sourcing.
• Proficiency in utilizing Boolean search strings, job portals, and social media recruitment channels.
• Strong working knowledge of HR tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and MS Excel for MIS reporting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills coupled with professional etiquette.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple hiring requisitions simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail, strong active listening skills, and outstanding interpersonal relationship-building capabilities.
