What role will you play in the team

You will serve as an integral pillar within our private equity growth fund, identifying high-potential startup and mature businesses for strategic equity investments. Your analytical capabilities will drive our proprietary deal sourcing engine, enabling the partnership to evaluate scalable business models and execute transformational growth capital transactions across domestic markets.

What you will do

Your daily focus centers on conducting deep-dive market research, screening target sectors using specialized alternative investment databases, and building comprehensive financial models to test investment hypotheses. You will draft initial investment memorandums and participate actively in investment committee discussions to defend investment theses.

Key responsibility

• Scan venture capital and private equity databases systematically to identify attractive investment opportunities aligned with fund mandates.
• Construct dynamic leveraged buyout and equity return models incorporating sensitivity analysis and varied exit scenarios.
• Perform comprehensive comparable company analysis and precedent transaction reviews to establish defensible valuation benchmarks for targets.
• Draft rigorous investment memorandums detailing market dynamics, competitive advantages, financial health, and risk assessment profiles.
• Collaborate with portfolio operations teams to track key performance indicators of existing investments and prepare quarterly reporting packages.
• Maintain deal pipeline logs, track founder interactions, and manage comprehensive data room repositories for active investment opportunities.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, engineering, economics, or a quantitative discipline from a top-tier academic institution.
• Bring zero to one year of intensive analytical experience gained through internships or full-time roles in private equity, venture capital, or management consulting.
• Demonstrate mastery over financial modeling, valuation techniques, Excel macros and VBA, and private equity market databases like PitchBook.
• Possess an intuitive understanding of startup unit economics, SaaS metrics, gross margin structures, and capital allocation strategies.
• Show exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving orientation, and the ability to synthesize vast datasets into concise executive summaries.
