Job Description
What role you will play in team:
As an Investment Analyst in Private Equity, you will support the investment team in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities. Your analytical skills and due diligence efforts will be crucial in making informed investment decisions and maximizing returns for the firm.
What you will do:
You will conduct industry research, analyze company financials, and build financial models to assess the attractiveness of potential investments. You will also assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
Key Responsibility:
- Conduct industry research to identify attractive investment sectors and companies.
- Analyze company financials, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Build financial models to project future financial performance and assess investment returns.
- Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial, operational, and legal reviews.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
- Monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies.
- Assist in the negotiation and closing of investment transactions.
- Utilize Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, and Capital IQ to gather relevant data.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in the private equity market.
- Collaborate with other members of the investment team to develop and execute investment strategies.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and macros.
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Capital IQ, or similar financial data platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with LBO Modeling, DCF Analysis, and Comparable Company Analysis.
- Experience with Risk Management Software, SAS Risk Management (a plus).

- Prior internship or work experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field (1-2 years).
