What role will you play in the team

As a Private Equity Investment Associate, you will be an integral pillar of our investment execution and portfolio management division. You will actively participate in identifying, screening, and executing high-growth private equity investments across emerging sectors. Your ability to uncover deep market insights and execute rigorous financial due diligence will help our partnership make high-conviction capital allocation decisions that generate sustainable long-term portfolio value.

What you will do

Your core responsibilities require you to source investment deals, evaluate business plans, and construct exhaustive financial models to test target company assumptions. You will author comprehensive investment memoranda for the investment committee, conduct expert interviews, and participate in commercial due diligence sessions. Furthermore, you will monitor existing portfolio company performance metrics, analyze operational variances, and assist portfolio executives with strategic add-on acquisitions.

Key responsibility

• Sourced proprietary investment opportunities through comprehensive industry mapping, networking, and direct outreach to company founders.
• Construct intricate LBO and M&A financial models to simulate various capital structures, exit scenarios, and return metrics.
• Conduct deep-dive financial and operational due diligence on potential portfolio companies alongside external audit and legal advisors.
• Draft rigorous investment memoranda detailing thesis alignment, risk factors, growth potential, and financial valuation summaries.
• Analyze historical financial statements, working capital trends, and cash flow projections to identify operational improvement areas.

• Utilize Eikon, FactSet, and PitchBook to conduct competitive landscape assessments and market sizing studies.
• Track ongoing portfolio company performance dashboards, review periodic management reports, and assist in strategic corporate initiatives.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Professional degree such as MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), or CFA charterholder/level finalist.
• Extensive practical knowledge of Private Equity workflows, LBO modeling, and M&A Modeling Tools.
• Hands-on experience leveraging data platforms such as FactSet, Eikon, PitchBook, and Dealogic for market research.
• Exceptional proficiency in financial statement analysis, valuation methodologies, and corporate finance theory.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities in Microsoft Excel, complemented by working knowledge of VBA automation.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills necessary for stakeholder management and executive presentations.
• High degree of professional ethics, intellectual curiosity, and resilience under high-pressure deal conditions.
