Product Owner

What role will you play in the team

As a Product Owner based out of Mumbai, you will serve as the crucial operational bridge between business visionaries and technical development teams. You will take complete ownership of the product backlog, defining strategic feature sets, prioritizing execution items, and ensuring that every software iteration maximizes stakeholder value and aligns seamlessly with overarching company goals.

What you will do

You will write comprehensive user stories, manage release planning roadmaps using Aha! and ProductPlan, and drive daily execution within Scrum frameworks. Additionally, you will integrate customer feedback gathered via SurveyMonkey and Hotjar directly into the product roadmap, ensuring continuous feature optimization and iterative value delivery for our enterprise client base.

Key responsibility

• Own, manage, and continuously groom the product backlog to ensure a steady stream of ready-to-develop user stories.
• Define crystal-clear acceptance criteria for all software features and validate completed deliverables against quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with UX researchers to review usability testing insights gathered through Hotjar and UsabilityHub.
• Utilize roadmapping software like Aha! and ProductPlan to communicate product milestones across departments.
• Facilitate effective Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings.

• Analyze customer feedback trends from SurveyMonkey and CRM systems like Salesforce to drive feature improvements.
• Partner with product marketing to coordinate feature rollouts, release notes, and user onboarding flows.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of dedicated experience functioning as a Product Owner within fast-paced tech environments.
• Expertise in Agile Methodologies, Scrum principles, and managing complex Kanban workflows.
• Hands-on experience with roadmapping software such as Aha!, ProductPlan, or Jira Product Discovery.
• Familiarity with customer feedback and analytics tools including Hotjar, SurveyMonkey, and Amplitude.
• Basic understanding of CRM integrations utilizing Salesforce or HubSpot ecosystem architecture.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
