We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Private Banking team working together to provide a world class service to our most valuable clients.
The role of Head of Onshore PB will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the GPB UAE Onshore Business with respect to Business Deliverables, Supervisory Responsibilities, Risks and Controls related to the business.
In this role, you will :
- Manage and execute Business Strategies to generate revenue and profit in accordance with the agreed annual targets.
- Direct the Relationship Manager teams as they grow and develop new/existing client relationships.
- Manage Business Risks in an effective manner and ensure compliance to all local and global regulations as well as policies and procedures of WPB and GPB Business.
- Shape up the GPB UAE Onshore Business and build a robust proposition to compete with local and Global competitors.
- Build and supervise a team of RMs and CSEs to give direction and guidance in achieving their respective targets and responsibilities and ensure proper risk management.
- Grow Investment and Insurance Revenue, increase TRB, AUM, WNNM and product penetration.
- Identify cross selling opportunities and increase number of successful outward referrals.
- Maintain highest standards of excellence in client service across the team to ensure team is collaborating with other functions, products, and services for the client.
- Provide on-going coaching and performance counselling to RMs and CSEs to meet their objectives.
- Maintain / decrease turnover rate of staff and reduce staff attrition.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability of managing relationship management teams within Private Banking sector.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining high value client relationships individually.
- Deep understanding of various investment products and strategies used for private banking relationships.
- Experience in handling private banking business and knowledge in related risk management and P&L management.
- Strong networking and business development skills as well as industry knowledge required to grow the business.
- Bachelors Degree is a must for UAE Visa and work permit.
