- Direct sales of our aircraft to defense and commercial customers.
- Partnered air taxi operations in regions where collaboration accelerates market entry and growth.
- Lead full-cycle partnership creation with government and private sector partners—source, structure, negotiate, and close high-impact agreements.
- Navigate complex government, regulatory, and quasi-government stakeholder environments, aligning commercial partnerships with long-term policy, infrastructure, and aviation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope opportunities, align objectives, and ensure successful execution.
- Negotiate pragmatic, advancing agreements - knowing when and where to push for optimum outcomes.
- Drive deal handoff to operations - establish workflows, launch pilots, and monitor execution with integrity.
- Communicate with clarity - concise memos, crisp summaries, and purposeful decks.
- Build and maintain relationships across the aviation, aerospace, mobility, and technology ecosystems.
- Market strategy development - define the commercial strategy for the UAE and the region
- Represent Joby - With senior external stakeholders, building lasting relationships with corporations, governments, infrastructure partners, and investors.

- 8+ years in business development, corporate strategy, or deal-making roles with a track record of structuring and closing strategic or commercial agreements—ideally in fast-moving sectors (e.g., aviation, aerospace, mobility, defense, management consulting).
- Solid grasp of the UAE ecosystem and experience working with UAE stakeholders
- Arabic proficiency is preferred, but not a requirement.
- A self-starter with a get-it-done mindset that thrives in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Excellent persuasive communication, stakeholder alignment, and negotiation abilities.
- Trusted partner to senior executives, comfortable operating with ambiguity, exercising sound judgment, and representing Joby with credibility at the highest levels.
- Willingness to occasionally work during US business hours and travel regionally and internationally
