Role Summary

Work on building an AI-based Computer Vision system from scratch as a Proof of Concept with scope to scale into production. The intern will independently design, train, evaluate, and optimize vision models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop computer vision models (object detection, activity/gesture recognition, people counting)

• Prepare datasets, train models using GPU, and tune performance
• Design end-to-end AI pipelines and deploy for real-time inference
• Experiment with different models and document results

Mandatory Skills

• Advanced Python
• Computer Vision fundamentals
• PyTorch / TensorFlow (PyTorch preferred)
• Core Machine Learning concepts

Preferred Skills

• OpenCV, YOLO / SSD / Faster R-CNN
• CNNs, Vision Transformers
• GPU training, model optimization
• COCO / Pascal VOC datasets, TensorBoard
• Linux, basic edge/real-time inference knowledge

Qualification

Master’s student or recent graduate in CS / AI / Data Science / Robotics / ECE (AI)
