Job Description

Position: Sr. Business Development (Client) Director
Location: Reston, VA, DC Area

JTSIs Senior Business Development (Client) Director will be responsible for:

  1. Lead full life cycle capture management, Client lead and solutioning activities, including pipeline development, grooming, assessment, pursuit, capture, and bid processes
  2. Demonstrative experience leading and writing proposals; skilled developing staffing, technical and past performance proposal solutions
  3. Learn and be able to speak fluently to JTSIs capabilities and technical differentiators
  4. Conduct business intelligence and analysis activities to understand corporate capabilities/gaps, strategies, and win themes
  5. Analyze defense and national security customer organizations, challenges, budgets, and other items necessary to develop winning proposal strategies
  6. Develop teaming strategies and meet with business leaders to execute capture plan
  7. Align pipeline to meet JTSIs growth objectives and effectively lead 4 6 captures and proposals of select prime opportunities at any given time
  8. Meet with prospective government customers to exchange information, understand challenges, influence requirements, and share information on potential solutions
  9. Serve as opportunity owner for associated proposals, including leading strategy sessions, pursuit/bid briefs, kickoff briefs, identifying
  10. necessary support resources, providing inputs for content as necessary, and securing approval from corporate leadership
  11. Oversee the development of proposal packages to tell a compliant, compelling story that effectively articulates win themes
  12. Be a collaborative member of the Client, proposal, and operations teams

What you will need to have:

  1. Bachelors degree or Masters degree preferred
  2. 10+ years of experience performing business development and capture management activities with a successful win rate
  3. Experience working bids on various contract vehicles, such as GSA MAS or OASIS or IDIQs/GWACs
  4. Experience developing and executing capture strategies for new business opportunities
  5. Experience leading proposals developing staffing plans, providing technical solutions, and creating past performance submissions
  6. Strong relationships across multiple relevant Federal / DoD and subordinate organizations
  7. Demonstrated ability leading and winning business pursuits in the small business (SB) and Unrestricted market
  8. Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills to work with internal and external teams
  9. Strong relationships and demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders
  10. Strong skills in oral and written communication
  11. Travel as required
