The Firmwide Core Deposits Platform and its health impacts our customers and their financial lives:



  • Ensuring our customer's financial position is accurate by processing monetary inputs from all channels, calculating fees (non-sufficient funds/overdraft, interest, penalties, waivers) and posting to various ledgers.

  • Providing account and customer information to allow customer viewing on all channels, support compliance reporting and feed our data lake, and support operations and back office processes such as transaction monitoring.

  • Addressing stability, security, and scalability to lessen downtime and reduce impact to our customers and call centers through continued modernization efforts.

  • Delivering an end-to-end customer experience for features that cut across our deposit products that are consistently prioritized with a firmwide first approach.


Summary
The Firmwide Core Deposits Product team is seeking an experienced Area Product Owner who will lead the Post My Transactions Area Product Group. . The Firmwide Core Deposits Product team operates as an agile team within the Consumer Bank, sitting at the intersection of the product, business and technology. This role will work across all product types and lines of business on our current and target state deposit products to drive business outcomes while putting customers and end users front and center.


What You'll Do



  • Manage a team of 4-6 responsible for delivering solutions to meet the current needs of businesses across the firm on the existing deposits platform

  • Recommend solution options ("how") to deliver on strategic opportunity ("what") that spans the current and target state platforms

  • Responsible for management of user story creation, backlog health for sprint teams, User Acceptance Test Criteria, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done

  • Collaborate with Agility Leads to regularly review Agility Metrics for APG, leveraging metrics to continue to mature execution and drive efficiency

  • Responsible for prioritization decisions- what work will APG pick up next, sequencing, management of demand for APG

  • Drive clarity to lines of defense partners via Product Cabinets, ensuring engagement through design reviews

  • End to end experience reviews for the Product and relentless focus on how we improve the customer experience

  • Product is 'firmwide' in nature, requiring the APO to partner across all Lines of Business, with strong governance

  • Find opportunities to reduce work on legacy platforms and modernize as the target state platform is developed

  • APO must be an Agile thought Leader within the Firmwide Core Deposits Product team


What We're Looking For



  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in Business or Product ownership, strategy, or consulting roles with exposure to rigorous and large-scale program and product management

  • Previous experience with Agile practices and ability to adapt agile toolsets in a Product Architecture environment

  • Knowledge of Banking products

  • Relentless focus and attention to detail and driving accountability

  • Ability to manage and create structure, fully embrace change in a rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to identify and address program execution needs in a fast-paced culture

  • Strong communication both verbal and written

  • Cross collaboration relationship management skills

  • Must have experience working and influencing senior stakeholders

  • Ability to develop strategy and translating into defined roadmaps with clear milestones

  • Strong understanding of customer engagement practices and ability to drive solutions with a customer-centric mindset

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to develop and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the team delivers high value features

  • Proficient in JIRA
