Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.
GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

Team Description
The Controls Monitoring team is responsible for monitoring a varied range of controls across different programs within the CIB Controls world. A key responsibility of this team is to ensure compliance with the firm-wide standards and policy as well as regulatory compliance across different programs. The following programs are grouped under the broad umbrella of Controls Monitoring - Cross Border program, User Tool oversight, APAC entitlement for access management, Application testing and Email surveillance. Each of these programs follow an established process of monitoring complete with its own procedures, applications and MIS reporting to management. These programs ensure that activities are consistent with global requirements and minimum corporate standards and in compliance with local law, rules and regulations. The role demands partnership and collaboration with various stakeholders and teams to ensure that all processes are monitored and reported in a timely manner. The goal is to ensure all controls monitoring is completed with the highest quality of data. This is an Oversight & Control role, therefore a strong control mind-set is a pre-requisite of any candidate.
About the Role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily, weekly and monthly controls reporting.
- Creation of MIS and Governance material including analysis and cleansing.
- Support the implementation of Control Framework.
- Creation of reference data including maintenance and cleansing.
- Drive progress through effective escalation of issues and concerns.
- Partner closely and effectively with teams across various locations to deliver high quality data.
- Develop strong understanding of UT Oversight and Governance model.
- Ability to effectively lead and participate in meetings, agree and record actions and follow up accordingly.
- Maintain and enhance consistent and timely reporting and metrics.
- Involvement and delivery of other key global, strategic initiatives, as required.
- Proactively identify and resolve barriers, risks and interdependencies.
- Complete testing and monitoring of required processes and provide summary feedback to Business Control Managers as well as Business Managers.
- Identify and communicate control gaps, risks, and proposed improvements.
- Drive progress through effective escalation of issues and concerns.
- Ownership of the User Tool Inventory System (UWAT) on behalf of CIB, through gathering requirements, partnering with Corporate, testing, training and roll out.
- Ownership of MIS. Create consistent MIS and ad-hoc requests to support the project delivery ensuring the process is streamlined and efficient.
- Support ad-hoc MIS requests to support businesses and the program manager (for use in various presentation and scorecards).
- Develop detailed UAT test plan, conditions/cases and related data.
- Work closely with technology and UAT participants to ensure complete test strategy is executed.
- Provide clear tracking and resolution of defects along with the reporting of UAT execution results.
- Should effectively do defect management in a proactive manner.
- Support end to end regression testing in UAT & Dev environment and communicate effectively with the global stakeholders on the status of bugs and enhancements.
- Perform/Coordinate post implementation validation and signoff.
- Able to work comfortably & confidently under pressure and aggressive deadlines.

- Knowledge in dash board tools such as QlikView/QlikSense and Tableau is a plus
- Knowledge in intelligent solutions such as Alteryx is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to think outside of the box and identify creative and strategic solutions.

Qualification:
- Any Bachelor degree with 5-7 years of financial services work experience.
- Experience in Banking, Risk & Control domain will be an added advantage.

- 11am to 8pm IST
