About Business Resiliency:
Organizationally, Business Resiliency is one of the identified elements of JPMC's Operational Resilience Framework. The Line of Business specific Resiliency function provides a formal structure allowing for cohesive and centralized oversight of the enterprise wide control environment, partnering closely with firmwide Business Resiliency, Compliance, Risk, Audit and other control disciplines.
The CIB Resiliency function is charged with ensuring the Corporate & Investment Bank is able to safeguard its staff, clients and shareholder interests, by ensuring the business's ability to maintain appropriate operating levels, despite all types of physical business disruption.
Key Responsibilities:



  • Driving Business Resiliency agenda for CIB LOBs in India

  • Support execution of the CIB resiliency strategic agenda, partnering closely with global stakeholders and the Firmwide Resiliency team

  • Support CIB Lobs in responding to any incident / crisis event effectively in India and completing after action review report

  • Coordinate Site / staff loss testing conducted by CIB LOBs

  • Lead / Contribute to various process improvement resiliency initiatives across the Globe/ Region/ Location

  • Join Location Control and management forums and provide Resiliency updates regularly

  • Ensure Quality Control process exists, and reviews are conducted prior to BR Plan approval and publication in firmwide Business Resiliency system

  • Challenge validity or appropriateness of content of resiliency plans for CIB functions to improve effectiveness of plans

  • Execute hygiene controls to ensure data quality and consistency of resiliency documentation

  • Prepare and provide comprehensive Resiliency compliance reporting to Location stakeholders to enable them providing governance & oversight

  • Coordinate centrally any Resiliency related programs across CIB in partnership with Sub-LOB resiliency teams as applicable

  • Support and attend key client / regulatory business interaction

  • Develop and deliver business Resiliency awareness/training program for CIB LOBs

  • Develop a cohesive and effective partnership with business and operations

  • Proactively manage resiliency risks to incorporate appropriate mitigations and controls

  • Support CIB functions in preparation for Regulatory exams / Audits

  • Engage with control stakeholders including 2nd and 3rd lines of defence

Experience Required:



  • Experience in an investment banking Regulatory, Compliance or Operational team is desirable

  • Business Resiliency, Operational & Crisis Management experience preferred

  • Knowledge of compliance, audit, risk and operational management concepts

  • Successful track record of delivering results;

  • Attested track record of working to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for independent workload
