Job Description
The Payroll operational analyst is responsible for completion of US Biweekly, Semi Monthly , Monthly and offcycle payrolls in Oracle HCM Cloud. Responsible for responding to email enquires from employees or business partners on timely manner. Excellent communication skills and record keeping. Meets all deadlines related to payroll.
Responsibilities
- Ensure bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly accurate and timely processing of 170,000 US employees payroll in all states in the USA
- Provides highly complex analysis, typically exercising a strong understanding of the payroll framework, Oracle HCM systems and government regulations impacting payroll calculation.
- Understanding of the Oracle HCM Fusion payroll flows and processes needed to complete both on and off cycle payrolls
- Understanding of Time and Attendance and the impact it has on payroll calculations
- Understanding of tax calculations related to gross to net and taxable wages
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience
- Strong understanding Oracle Fusion Payroll elements and configuration
- Ability to review and reconcile payroll accurately
- Ability to manage multiple payrolls processing simultaneously
- Assists in Payroll initiatives
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement related to reconciliation and controls
- Assists employees with general questions related to payroll, wage deductions, benefits, and other pay related issues.
Education & Experience Required
- 8+ years of experience as a payroll analyst, SR analyst.
- 3+ years Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud US Payroll.
- Experience in more than one payroll function and/or systems
- Knowledge of Gross to Net Payroll US Payroll Calculation
