Reference Data Specialist

As a Reference Data Specialist within our Corporate Investment Bank, you will provide operational support and subject matter expertise to clients. You will ensure the timely completion of transaction management, resolve client inquiries, and promote process improvement and automation.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of all aspects of transaction management for clients and resolve exceptions and inquiries
• Demonstrate excellent client focus, customer care, and a strong sense of ownership
• Innovate on process improvement and automation
  
• Drive process improvement initiatives within the team
• Oversee daily regulatory reporting tasks and remediation activities as needed
• Manage assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in banking
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

• Knowledge of financial services industry, products, and processes with strong analytical skills
• Strong understanding of legal language to interpret documents and assess impact to the Firm

• Experience in middle or back office operations
• Exposure to process improvement or automation projects
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting tasks
