The Risk, Compliance and Controls (RCC) Technology team within Finance, Risk, Data and Compliance (FRDC) Technology delivers a wide range of technology solutions to support the firm's Risk Management functions (Credit Risk, Market Risk, Country Risk, Operational Risk, Reputational Risk), Compliance functions (Trade Surveillance, Financial Crimes, Electronic Communication, Employee Compliance), and Control functions (first and second line of defense controls).

Regulatory Technology is looking to hire a Senior Application Development Manager as Vice President to help accelerate our digital transformation (cloud enablement, microservices, agile transformation, UX design, M/L, and product operating model). Our technology platforms span the spectrum of technology architecture with different level of complexity. A top GT priority is building scalable corporate systems. Teams focus on:

• Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm's regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments.


• Advancing the firm's Roadmap programs - Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms.


• Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions.


• Driving innovation across the firm's corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles.


• Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BE/M.Tech degree preferably in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology


• Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems


• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages


• Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
  


• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve common organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture


• Ability to manage a feature team to deliver on the requirements and feature enhancement

• Proficient with Java and hands on Java 8+ version.


• Exposure to micro-services pattern, design principles and design patterns is must


• Exposure on CI/CD, versioning strategy


• Should be able to set standards, define templates etc. to promote reusability and establish standards.


• Must have an eye for pixel perfection, attention to detail along with strong hands on experience.


• Interact with UX designers, product owners and produce prototypes to seek feedback.


• Must be able to work in fast paced environment and be able to adapt to changing requirements.


• Ability to influence and deliver product road map and align to the common goals and collaborate across multiple teams in the program.


• Agile experience is a must.


• Ability to lead and manager feature teams for delivering business value
