The VETS cohort 4.0 is a 14-week paid Internship program, which provides a platform to pursue your post-military career with a company that aligns with your values - determination, dedication and service. You'll have opportunities to put your skills to work and immediately make a difference in one of our many areas of operations. We'll help you build your product and industry knowledge, make connections across the firm and gain real-world experience that will help you take your career in any direction.

You'll work with your manager and mentor to outline clear goals, accomplish projects and acquire new skills that you can showcase as you look for a full-time role. You'll network with leaders across the organization and determine where your skills will be best applied. We're looking for those who can help us maintain our commitment to diversity, innovation and service.

We're looking for those with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, who collaborate and work well with a team. You should be comfortable talking to anyone in the organization and flexible enough to take on new assignments and learn new terminology.

We'll assign you a buddy who's been through the program to help you navigate the firm and transition to our company as well as a mentor to help guide your career and make the most of the opportunities available. You'll work one-on-one with your manager and your mentor to create clear goals and you'll follow up to make sure you're achieving them.
We provide formal training opportunities, on-the-job skills development and sessions on softer skills to make sure you're prepared to take on the next role at the firm. Participants have access to a wide range of online learning tools as well as in-person sessions led by senior leaders and industry experts to improve technical, financial and other skills.

As a CCB Risk Analytics Associate, you'll work with data to generate thoughtful analytics and recommendations to the business concerning strategy/model/forecasting solution development, implementation, operational controls, and performance monitoring.
Deliver concrete analytical solutions to existing/new business problems using a combination of data, business understanding as well as available tools and techniques.
- Develop/generate/maintain innovative tools and solutions to use for data analytics, for strategy decisioning, portfolio tracking and trend analysis.
- Enhance the quality of data and information availability; analyze the data and provide relevant recommendations for the business
- Lead advanced analyses to assess relationships and patterns, and identify reliable sources to build newer data assets
- Validation and tracking of data assets at regular intervals and propose modifications from time to time
- Work in a cross-functional, multi-geography team, effectively sharing knowledge and ideas
- Work with different business partners to create a collaborative work environment of learning as well as efficient execution
- Simplify and present complex business problems and associated solutions to the senior management
- Help spearhead best in class documentation and operational risk and audit controls around data
- Participate in cross-functional communications with Risk Management, Finance, Marketing and Collections to understand and solution different data requirements
Qualifications:

- Strong interest in the field of analytics, and curiosity to learn about new businesses, explore data, extract insights, mentor teams, and ability to storyboard
- Strong data handling, interpretive, and problem solving skills with the ability to process large volumes of data and efficiently derive actionable results taking into consideration operational and risk impacts
- Ability to extract large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and make business recommendations via the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly self-learn different business and ability to visualize newer requirements for data assets such businesses may require
- Ability to extract large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information
- Networking -interpersonal skills; exceptional collaboration, openness and relationship building skills
- Able to work effectively in agile environments, delivering value whilst dealing with high degrees of uncertainty and continuous change.
- Understanding of SAS, SQL, MS Office Suite is an added advantage
