VP - Infrastructure Support - Storage

As an experienced Infrastructure Support professional, your relentless dedication to innovation will have a positive ripple effect on both innovation and the people who make it. You'll put your experience to work across the board, leading an incredibly talented team in areas like change management, incident management, and problem management. You'll be responsible for management communication and client relationship management. You'll use your critical thinking skills to establish the team's functional goals and set priorities and objectives that align with our overall strategy. You'll oversee areas like incident management, change management, impact identification, management communication, risk and controls, client relationship management, service improvement, discovery/gathering/documenting of business needs, data and requirements. You'll coach, manage and mentor people, both in-house and in working collaboration with our talented and dedicated problem-solving technologists across the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global network.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines


• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems


• Working proficiency in storage related toolsets


• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices


• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals


• Passionate about building an innovative culture


• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages



• Self-starter, independently takes initiative in driving assignments to completion and solving problems without need for escalation


• Proactively identify gaps in all processes, procedures, monitors, alerts, designs, etc. and provide recommendations on how to resolve


• Will be contributing to the Book of Work and performing regular code reviews

Education:

Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; Information Technology or related field.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience on infrastructure incident, Change & problem management.


• Minimum 8+ years of experience in storage related technologies and related automation practices.


• Hands on working knowledge with Object, Block & File storage technologies is mandatory.

• Hands on experience/knowledge of storage products refresh life cycle management/migrations is required.


• Experience with hands-on Python, Ansible in advantageous.


• Strong team working skills and the ability to work on multiple parallel work items with other support teams, developers, analysts etc.


• Knowledge of the software development life cycle. Test driven software development experience.


• Agile development experience a plus. Self-starter, being able to solve problems independently.


• Exceptional written and verbal skills
