Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Supply Chain Management

• Check detail in PR for completeness
• Raise queries to PR Requisitioned in plant/location
• Check whether rate contract exists: query with material code and plant
• Identify new vendor, search existing vendors for a PR
• Create RFQ and transmit to vendor
• Coordinate between vendor and user to ensure tech queries are clarified and accurate offers are obtained.
  
• Arrange technical review with end user and coordinate with vendor for revised offer if any
• Create Comparative Statement, address clarifications, additional requirement for negotiation, if any
• Execute Reverse Auction event in collaboration with vendor and publish result
• Transmit to PO to vendor after PO release by Location Buyer and subsequent amendment in order as required
• Escalate issues, deviations and non-compliance to SME & Team Lead
• Meet SLAs and KPIs related to area of operations
• Create and publish MIS
• Undertake user acceptance testing. (UAT) for process/system enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders for update/resolution of issues.

3. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Diploma, Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in procurement of Steel industry, Strong experience, negotiation, and supplier relationship management, Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, advanced MS Excel/Macros and Power Point
