About the Role:
This is a core Fund Accounting position with a leading Indian Life Insurance organisation, responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely NAV computation and financial reporting across investment portfolios. The role demands strong technical grounding in accounting standards, regulatory frameworks (including SEBI), and investment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- End- to- end daily NAV calculation with complete accuracy and adherence to timelines.

- Preparation and review of Fund Accounting reports, investment schedules, IFRS- based disclosures, and other financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of derivative instruments and their accounting treatment.
- Ensuring compliance with SEBI regulations, insurance regulatory norms, and applicable accounting standards.
- Coordination and reconciliation of custody and investment bank accounts across multiple portfolios.
- Development, documentation, and enhancement of Fund Accounting policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Staying updated with evolving regulatory guidelines and ensuring process alignment.
Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant - Fresher or CA with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, insurance regulations, and investment accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word; working knowledge of SAP FI preferred.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and problem- solving ability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross- functional teams and stakeholders.
