Sr Manager / Chief Manager - Data Science

Our client is one of the top life insurers in India. They are looking to expand their data science teams and seek bright data scientists from top B-Schools / Engineering Colleges.
Role Purpose :
The main responsibility is to provide consulting service to business teams on various business problems and to identify insights and solutions and to work closely with the business owners on implementation of identified solutions.
Key Accountability :
- Provide insights based on data to business teams
- Develop framework, solutions and recommendations for business problems

- Build ML models for predictive solutions
- Use advance data science techniques to build business solutions
- Automation / Optimization of new/existing models ensuring smooth,timely and accurate execution with lowest possible TAT.
- Design & maintenance of response tracking, measurement, and comparison of success parameters of various projects.
- Ability to handle large volumes of data with ease using multiple software like Python ,R etc
- Good at data interpretation and reasoning skills
- Good at verbal and written communication skills-
Educational Qualification : Any will do
- MBA from premier institute (IIM preferred)
- Masters from IIT
Competencies (Knowledge & Skills) :
- Experience in modeling techniques and hands on experience in building Logistic regression models, Random Forrest, K-mean Cluster, NLP, Decision tree, Boosting techniques etc
- Experience in doing deep data analysis
- R, Python excellent knowledge
- SQL working knowledge
- Understanding of data base and data structures
- Excellent communication skills
