Job Description

You will be joining an early-stage B2B SaaS startup in the shared living / student housing space as a JS/TS Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable backend services using ExpressJS and TypeScript. Your primary tasks will include developing and maintaining APIs, collaborating with frontend developers and designers to enhance user experience, and writing clean, maintainable code following best practices.

The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 2 years of experience in web/server architecture with strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript, particularly in Express, APIs, and databases. Familiarity with NextJS, REST APIs, and web server operations is also required. A strong problem-solving mindset, including exposure to platforms like LeetCode, will be beneficial for this role.
Experience with Performance optimization, debugging, SQL/NoSQL databases, testing, Git workflows, and React Native would be considered advantageous.

The compensation for this role is in the range of 9 to 12 LPA with ESOPs offered post-probation. The work mode is hybrid, starting with remote work for the first 3 months of probation, followed by a Bangalore-based hybrid work setup. Immediate joining is required for this position.
The tech stack you will be working with includes ExpressJS, TypeScript, Prisma, NextJS, Chakra UI, MySQL, AWS, and Nginx. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a two-part product consisting of an admin panel and a resident app that impacts thousands of users daily. If you are enthusiastic, willing to take ownership, and shape the product architecture, this role might be the perfect fit for you.,
