Building Maintenance Supervisor

What role you will play in team: You will oversee the daily operations of the building maintenance team, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance of hotel facilities. Your role will be key to maintaining the high standards of Jumeirah.

What you will do: You'll supervise maintenance staff, manage work orders, maintain inventory of parts, ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will collaborate with other departments to maintain a smoothly operating hotel.

Key responsibility:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of the building maintenance team, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Manage work orders, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs, ensuring timely completion of scheduled tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
  
• Troubleshoot major mechanical or electrical issues, escalating as needed.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and performance.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
