About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Specialist in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Job Purpose:

To provide both Guests and Colleagues with the best possible IT Support within the assigned functional area (Helpdesk Operations/Networks).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support to colleagues and guests within agreed SLAs.
- Respond to guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Monitor the performance of Networks, Servers, Workstations, and peripherals and report any abnormalities to the IT Manager.
- Maintain updated IT knowledge to ensure continuous improvement in services offered.
- Assist in projects as allocated by the IT Manager or Director of IT.
- Maximize the use of hardware and software by training users and answering their questions.
- Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.

Required experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in an IT-related role, preferably in hospitality.
- Basic networking skills and knowledge of server hardware and software.
Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
