Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator -Dubai

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our team in Dubai. As a Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including application and middleware administration. You will work closely with our technical teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administration and Maintenance:
- Manage and maintain application and middleware systems, including configuration, patching, and upgrades.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT systems.
- Troubleshooting and Support:

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution.
- Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and resolve issues promptly.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Collaborate with security teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Agile Environment:
- Work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide updates on project status.

Required Skills:

- Education:

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in application/middleware administration.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications, such as Red Hat, Kubernetes, DevOps, Kafka, etc., are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of application and middleware systems, including configuration, patching, and upgrades.
- Experience with agile methodologies and security-conscious environments.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
