Job Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in the refinement of methods to ensure continuous quality improvement (CQI) and develop norms and standards for Quality Improvement (QI) systems.
• The Quality Assurance Improvement Advisor will keep constant coordination with the Operational and Engineering & Maintenance team members.
• Regularly provide coaching & technical support in QI methods.
• Collect and manage data on quality improvement processes and outcomes.
• Review and improve technical process strategies employed in Operations and Engineering & Maintenance to ensure the procedures and work instructions is adhered to and implemented with measurable success.
• Ensure the timely writing and submission of quality and accurate reports quarterly, monthly, and at all other requested times.
• Ensure that data collected is accurate, valid and captures process and outcome indicators documented in an updated database.
• Conduct planned internal audits.
• Plan and implement quarterly Learning Sessions and workshops.
• Lead the process of documenting best practices in form of case studies, success stories, abstracts, video clips in addition to the routine updates, quarterly and annual reports.
• Work collaboratively with the overall QHSE team and share knowledge and guidance on assurance and compliance matters to enhance quality of QHSE support provided to Dubai Metro and Tram.
• Broad understanding of the KM values & 4P s (Passengers, People, PTA & Planet).
• Understanding of KM committed obligation relevant to your section & QHSE.
• Awareness of QHSE KPI s relevant to your section & the role you play in efficiently delivering them.
• Broad understanding of the financial penalties aligned to KPI s (where relevant).
• Full understanding of the departmental plan for your QHSE section.
• Actively supports and collaborate with others in QHSE, KM & contractors to deliver KM requirements.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn Quality Improvement Science and methods.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Undertakes & documents (as evidence), continual professional development (CPD) as part of the Performance & Development plan set by their line manager. This will be supported by KM where possible but should also include self-development activities.

KEY SKILLS
• Strong English language skills, especially good oral and written communication skills.
• Auditing Skills. Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and the analysis, interpretation and evaluation of complex information.
• Demonstrated organizational and relationship building skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and presentation.
EXPERIENCES
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.
• Drafting, interpreting, and implementing quality assurance standards and procedures for the organization.
• Evaluating new and existing regulations to ensure your quality assurance protocols fulfill requirements.
EDUCATIONNAL QUALIFCATIONS
• A post graduate degree in a relevant field of study will be an advantage.
• 5 -8+ years progressively increasing experience in Continuous Improvement with demonstrated success and Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certified or equivalent.
