Budgeting and Analysis

• Preparation of General and administrative Expenses Annual Budget
• Monthly review of budget vs actual expenses and identify the reasons for variances and highlight the same to management.

Accounting & Control

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• System & Process Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems, including the implementation of new technologies and automation tools.
• Risk Management & Compliance:
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Perform financial Evaluation review of Vendors
• Financial Excellence Review of Stores
• 
  Oversee Franchisee Audit, Global Audits etc.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Treasury & Cash Management:

• Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs.
• Oversee banking relationships and optimize cash management strategies.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis
• Prepare and present insightful financial reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other key financial reports.

Others:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, Business development team, marketing team) and lead discussions around agreements with Franchisee Partners.
• Coordinate with the Shared Services Centre for various matters from time to time.
• Review the Authority matrix periodically and update the required changes

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience:

• Essential: 7+ years of experience and complete understanding of USGAAP/ IFRS/ IGAAP/ India-AS
• Prior experience in Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, monthly closing/ reporting, statutory audit, cash flow forecast, Internal Financial Controls Reporting etc.
