RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS 70% FE 30% BE (GraphQL, Angular, Java) in Westlake, TX.
Duties:
* Providing mentoring to the team of developers with specific emphasis on sound fundamental development methodology in GraphQL/RESTful API micro services development, building UI using HTML5, JavaScript, Angular tech stack
* Providing leadership on project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies
* Participating in the teams effort to improve the productivity and quality of the entire development process
* Contributing to a teamwork environment by actively participating in peer project reviews, code reviews and design reviews
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree (Computer Science or related fields)
* 8 years of development experience with expertise in developing APIs and microservices
* Proven experience with GraphQL API development (preferable Apollo Graph QL)
* Strong experience using NodeJS as a UI backend
* Familiarity with GraphQL API federation concepts
* Hands-on experience building UI using HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular
* Experience in consuming and designing RESTful APIs and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design
* Strong understanding of REST API implementation, including Enterprise Authentication and Authorization models
* Excellent understanding of Java 11 or 17 capabilities, lambda, streams, and functional interfaces
* Excellent understanding and working experience using spring modules, including IOC, MVC(Rest), BATCH, spring boot along with other core components like oauth2 and security
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Jasmine, Cypress, Playwright, Jest and Storybook)
* Experience in designing and implementing container-based solutions, preferably Kubernetes on EKS or AKS
* Experience with Data Monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Splunk
* Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development in an Agile environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
