About the Role

We are looking for a Bilingual SAP Consultant with a strong foundation in SAP Basis Administration and excellent JapaneseEnglish (or other language) communication skills.

The role involves system administration, technical coordination, and bridging between offshore and on-site teams to ensure smooth SAP operations and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP Basis administration tasks including installation, configuration, system copy, upgrade, and performance tuning.
• Monitor and manage SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Handle user administration
  
  , transport management, and system performance optimization.
• Coordinate between Japanese-speaking clients and technical teams, providing clear communication and documentation.
• Support system refreshes, patch management, and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation in English and Japanese.
• Ensure compliance with security, backup, and system audit policies.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support during system go-lives or major activities when required.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration (HANA DB, Linux, Windows, or Cloud environments).
• Experience with SAP system monitoring tools, SAP Solution Manager, or related utilities.

• Bilingual proficiency: Japanese (JLPT N2/N3 or equivalent) and English (spoken & written).
• Understanding of SAP landscapes and integration with other modules.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certification in Basis or HANA Administration.
• Experience working with Japanese clients or on Japan-based SAP projects.
• Knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud migration for SAP systems is an added advantage.
• JLPT N2 level or higher is preferred.
