About Us:

We are a professional event management organization currently planning and executing a major exhibition at the PIECC (Prime International Exhibition & Convention Centre), Moshi. To support our layout and design requirements, we are seeking a motivated AutoCAD Intern to join our team for a 4-month engagement.

Job Role:

As an AutoCAD Intern, you will assist our design and production team in preparing detailed exhibition layouts, floor plans, booth designs, and technical drawings. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in AutoCAD and event space planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing 2D and 3D layouts of the exhibition halls and booths using AutoCAD.
• Create accurate floor plans, elevations, and sections as per event requirements
• Coordinate with the production, marketing, and operations teams to reflect layout changes.
• Update drawings as per feedback and revisions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and structural guidelines.
• Conduct site visits (if required) for measurement and layout verification.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field (or currently pursuing).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D is mandatory; 3D is a plus).
• Knowledge of event layouts, space planning, or exhibition design is preferred.
• Basic understanding of structural and design principles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
