Job Description
Role Overview
The Strategy Manager will drive longterm growth for Klber Lubrication India by developing market strategies, guiding portfolio direction, and enabling cross-functional teams to execute winning gotomarket plans. The role combines market intelligence, strategic planning, brand positioning, and commercial execution to strengthen competitive advantage and accelerate business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct deep market analysis across key segments: Automotive, Heavy Industry, Textiles, and General Industry.
- Track competitor activities, pricing trends, product launches, and market positioning.
- Identify emerging technologies such as synthetics, EV fluids, biodegradable lubricants, and energyefficient solutions.
- Evaluate macroeconomic, regulatory, and OEM trends impacting lubricant demand, including emission norms and sustainability standards.
2. Strategic Planning
- Support in developing 35year strategic business plans for product lines and market segments.
- Identify highpotential segments, white spaces, and future growth platforms.
- Build strategies for digitalization, channel expansion, OEM partnerships, and premium product positioning.
- Support annual operating plans (AOP) with market forecasts, insights, and prioritized strategic initiatives.
3. GotoMarket (GTM) Strategy & Execution
- Develop endtoend GTM strategies for new products, services, and market entries—including segmentation, value proposition, pricing, channel strategy, and positioning.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to align GTM plans with customer needs, competitive differentiation, and commercial goals.
- Conduct customer segmentation analysis to identify target markets and refine buyer personas.
- Monitor performance of GTM initiatives and recommend coursecorrections to optimize adoption, revenue, and profitability.
- Ensure GTM execution is supported through clearly defined crossfunctional workflows, resource planning, and timelines
4. Strategic Project Management
- Lead key crossfunctional strategic initiatives ensuring timelines, milestones, and outcomes are achieved.
- Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and HR to operationalize strategic priorities.
- Identify project risks early and drive mitigation or escalation as required.

Qualifications, Experience & Key Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or chemistry.
- MBA (Marketing preferred) from a premier institute.
- 8+ years of experience in lubricants, petrochemicals, automotive, or industrial products in strategy consulting, corporate planning, or business analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in strategy development, product marketing, market research, and pricing.
- Market & Business Acumen and Commercial and financial understanding.
- Analytical Skills: Expert-level capability in data analysis, statistical modeling, and financial analysis.
- Communication: Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Tools: Proficiency in BI tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
