Position Title: Product Owner PC Software Development Automotive Domain

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Product Owner to lead the development of PC-based software tools in the automotive domain. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive workflows, software development processes, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate will drive product strategy, manage the backlog, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy:
• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for automotive PC software tools.
• Align product goals with business objectives and customer needs.
• Backlog Management:
  
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, DevOps, QA, and project groups.
• Gather feedback from users and customers to refine product direction.
• Development Oversight:
• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Quality & Compliance:
• Ensure product meets automotive standards and quality benchmarks.
• Support release planning and documentation processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
• Strong domain knowledge in automotive systems and PC-based toolchains.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong experience in Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills to deal with diverse group of stakeholders.
• Certifications like CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or SAFe PO/PM.
• Understanding of embedded systems and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with PC software development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).
