Job Description
As the Data, AI Platform & Architecture Leader, you will own the foundational data and AI platforms that enable Molex to scale analytics and AI capabilities globally. Aligned primarily to Molex and operating through Koch Capabilities India (KCI), this role is responsible for designing multi‑cloud data and AI platforms, defining reusable reference architectures, and establishing AI engineering foundations that allow teams to build once and deploy many.
This is a high‑impact leadership role where your architectural and platform decisions will influence how Data and AI solutions are designed, built, and scaled across Molex for years to come, while also contributing to broader platform standards across Koch.
You will work closely with the Chief Data & AI Operations Officer, partner with global capability and delivery leaders, and collaborate with stakeholders across India and the United States.
Our Team
Koch Technologies partners with Koch businesses to turn data and AI into durable competitive advantage. At Molex, this means moving beyond AI as an efficiency tool toward AI as a long‑term value creator—powered by strong platforms, reusable capabilities, and sound engineering foundations.
Within Koch Capabilities India, you will lead a team of senior platform engineers and architects who enable Molexs data, analytics, and AI teams to deliver faster, more reliably, and at scale across product, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial domains.
What You Will Do
Own the Molex Data & AI Platform
- Design, build, and evolve Molexs multi‑cloud data and AI platform.
- Make principled build‑vs‑buy decisions and modernize legacy environments.
- Ensure platforms are secure, cost‑effective, and increase in value with every use case deployed.
- Establish reusable reference architectures and platform standards that accelerate delivery across Molex teams (Enterprise Data Platform, Advanced Analytics, Demand Planning, Data Products & BI, and more).
- Reduce time‑to‑value by enabling teams to reuse proven patterns instead of rebuilding.
- Establish scalable MLOps and LLMOps capabilities, including model lifecycle management, governance, evaluation frameworks, and inference infrastructure.
- Enable data science and analytics teams to move AI solutions from prototype to production with minimal friction.
- Build, coach, and scale a team of senior engineers and architects within Koch Capabilities India.
- Set a high technical bar while developing future technical and people leaders.
- Collaborate with global capability leaders in Data Strategy & Governance, AI/ML, and Software Engineering & Integration.
- Influence platform and architecture standards beyond Molex, contributing to enterprise‑wide leverage across Koch.
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms, AI/ML platforms, or large‑scale technology architecture, with a strong mix of hands‑on delivery and architectural leadership.
- Multi‑cloud and hybrid expertise, with deep experience in at least two of AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with on‑prem or hybrid environments.
- Proven AI engineering experience, including ownership of MLOps or LLMOps platforms in production environments.
- Modern data platform experience, with exposure to technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent, and architectures including lakehouse, data mesh, streaming, and batch processing.
- People leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and scaling senior engineering or architecture teams.
- Enterprise influence, with experience working across multiple business units or federated organizations.
- Strong business judgment, able to connect architectural decisions to ROI, time‑to‑value, and measurable business outcomes.
