Competitive Compensation: Starting at $26.10 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for night shift.
Shift: Night Shift, 6pm-6am. Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with our 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 rotation.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our Glass Department. This position will be based at our Union City, TN location, where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality shower glass doors.
Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing routine and general maintenance and repairs of plant equipment as assigned by supervision. May work alone or with other departmental associates in the performance of assigned tasks. Associate should have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
• Carpentry, Welding, Cutting Torch, Pipefitting, Metal Working, Fabrication, Plumbing, Electrical, Machinist.
• Must perform quality work in sufficient quantity to meet requirements and assist in obtaining plant objectives.
• Support manufacturing and facilities by providing maintenance support for all machinery, equipment, systems and safety programs.
• Be aware of OSHA standards and follow safe work practices to avoid injury or accidents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment utilizing 5S methodology.
• Maintain and execute preventative maintenance (PM) schedule timely for equipment and facility.
• Enter, track and close out maintenance work orders via SAP system.
• Proficiently utilize a wide variety of electrical and mechanical test and calibration equipment.
• Industrial Electrical Wiring and Control (110 volt to 480 volt 3-phase)
  Troubleshooting/Problem solving skills with ability to read wiring, pneumatic, hydraulic drawings.
• Experience with PLC a plus.
• Effective, accurate and timely communication skills between shifts and when problems are detected.
• Frequent contact with outside vendors (such as electricians, mechanical contractors, parts vendors, etc.)
• 
  Make recommendations on process improvements.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Lockout tagout training is required (conducted at facility within 30 days of employment).
• Confined space training is required (conducted at facility within 30 days of employment).
• Forklift license training is required (conducted at facility within 30 days of employment).
• Works with Operations Leadership to acquire and install new equipment for capital projects.

Key Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent - associates degree or higher preferred.
• Novice computer skills.

• Experience with PLC controls is plus.
• Forklift license required (training provided).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Mechanical proficiency and willingness to operate industrial machinery.
• Must pass written Maintenance test.
• Be flexible in work hours and shifts - come in early or stay over for needed shift coverage.
• Must have tools.

• Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 50 - 70 pounds.
